We met in front of Kaufleuten restaurant in Zurich, 1pm. Blanda arrived on her bicycle and waved at me from a distance as soon as she recognized me. She ran her fingers through her long, shiny hair, smiled and hugged me to say hello.

Blanda Eggenschwiler is graphic designer and artist – a busy woman in demand. She was only just painting a car and background at central station in Zurich at Volvo Art Session, had a photo shooting with Swiss women’s magazine SI Style, and presented her limited and self-designed bag for Kiehl’s the night before. But despite everything, she made time for me to meet her and take her picture – right before another business lunch.

«I dress according to my mood, I like a bit of variety» she tells me after taking the photos. But as far as I got to know her, I can’t imagine her ever being tired or in a bad mood. Blanda is not only absolutely stunning in person, she is also incredibly nice, spontaneous and just fun to be around.

Ich habe mich mit ihr vor dem Kaufleuten verabredet, um 13:00. Sie kam mit dem Velo, winkte mir schon von Weitem zu, fuhr sich mit der Hand durch ihre langen, glänzenden Haare und umarmte mich zur Begrüssung.

Blanda Eggenschwiler ist Grafik Designerin und Künstlerin – eine gefragte Frau. Erst noch durfte sie bei der Volvo Art Session Auto und Hintergrund am HB bemalen, hatte ein Foto Shooting mit der SI Style, und präsentierte am Kiehl’s Event abends zuvor ihre selbst-designte (und limitierte!) Tasche «bioRe Eco Bag by Blanda Eggenschwiler». Trotz dem Terminstress in Zürich, Blanda wohnt ja eigentlich in New York, nahm sie sich ganz spontan Zeit für mich – kurz vor einem Business Lunch.

An ihrer Kleidung erkenne man gleich, wie sie sich fühle: «Ich mag die Abwechslung. Bin ich müde, hülle ich mich in Schichten – wenn ich Energie habe, trage ich eher luftige, farbige Kleider» und so wie ich sie erlebt habe, kann ich mir gar nicht vorstellen, dass diese Frau jemals müde oder schlecht gelaunt sein könnte. Blanda ist nicht nur unglaublich schön, sondern auch wahnsinnig lieb – und total unkompliziert.
